BREAKING - House REBUKES Obama For His Betrayal, VIDEO Released

The Republican House of Representatives is making its collective voice heard before the lame duck president leaves office.

On Thursday the House passed a resolution denouncing the abstention from the United Nations Security Council vote, abandoning our only true ally in the Middle East. Obama ordered the United States ambassador to the U.N to abstain and then claimed to have taken a strong stand on the matter.

This government, our government, abandoned our ally Israel when she needed us the most,” Speaker Paul Ryan said during his speech on the House floor before the vote. He added, “These types of one-sided efforts are designed to isolate and delegitimize Israel. They do not advance peace. They make it more elusive.”

Unfortunately for Obama, one of his final major acts in the Oval Office wasn’t even supported by the majority of the Democrat Party. Perhaps some of the career politicians are actually listening to their constituents after Hillary Clinton’s massive defeat at the hands of Donald Trump.

House members supported the Republican-sponsored resolution by a 342 to 80 margin. The hard core Liberals, must really loathe Israel and state sovereignty in general to raise their hand in support of the resolution. (via The Hill)

A total of 109 Democrats voted for the resolution. All GOP House members voted for the pro-Israel resolution but 76 Democrats stood in opposition to the measure.

For decades the United States has defended Israel from United Nations actions to terminate settlements in areas in the nation state which Palestinians still claim they should possess after losing them in the 6-day war during the summer of 1967. Obama’s poor relationship with Israel’s leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, came to a head when the vote at the U.N. Security Council was taken.

America was not the only nation to turn its back on Israel, but it likely led the charge and paved the way for other nations to do the same. The United Nations measure passed 14 to 0. Countries which voted in favor of telling Israel how to run its own country include, United Kingdom, France, China, Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. The United States ambassador could have stopped the vote swiftly by using our veto power, but that is not what Obama ordered to take place.

“I think allowing governments to bully Israel in the U.N. is a mistake, no matter who’s in power,” Democrat New York Representative Eliot Engel said. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Assistant Minority Leader Jim Clyburn voted against the resolution.

Minority Whip Steny Hoyer and Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley crossed the aisle and voted with Republicans on the resolution– kudos for putting what is right above party!

The resolution to denounce the vote is not the only action legislators are planning in response to the United Nations Security Council vote. Texas Senator and former GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz has proposed stopping American taxpayer dollars from being used to support the United Nations until the security council vote on settlement building is rescinded.

Marco Rubio and Democrat Bend Cardin are leading a group of bipartisan Senators to introduce a similar resolution objecting to the U.N. vote.
