If "under God" were removed from the Pledge of Allegiance, what would you instruct your children to do in school?

A New Jersey school district has been sued over "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. The suit was brought by an anonymous atheist couple. If the state court in New Jersey rules that, indeed, it is discriminatory for public schools to include "under God" in the Pledge and that the schools can no longer recite the Pledge or they must recite it without "under God", what will you instruct your children / grandchildren to do?  Not comply? or Comply?

NOT COMPLY - I would instruct my children/grandchildren to continue to recite the pledge WITH Under God.  If these atheist commies want to have it taken out - then they can instruct their children/grandchildren NOT to recite Under God and do the rest.  If they do not want them to recite the pledge - then they can stand quietly while the other children recite the pledge.  If the school has a problem then they can place ALL the atheist children in ONE classroom, where they don't have to listen and get them OUT of the classrooms with the NORMAL AMERICAN children.

Yep - when I was in elementary school there were a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses in my class.  When it came time for the pledge every morning they stood quietly and respectfully while the rest of us recited the pledge.  No one harangued them, bullied them or "made them feel" bad.  Even at that young age, we understood why the JW students were not reciting (I think the teacher must have explained it to the class - I don't remember that part exactly - but if the teacher didn't tell us - I am not sure how I knew the reason otherwise)  Anyway - we respected the "diversity" without incident.

Of course this was back in the "dark ages" of the 1970s - before the DOE came into being and before local schools stopped actually teaching our founding principles

THIS HOUSE WOULD REMOVE THE WORDS "UNDER GOD" FROM THE AMERICAN PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
