Republicans in Washington are Scared…Calls on The People to Help Defeat Obamacare
On Monday morning Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) pointed out the obvious about Republicans in Washington; they are scared of getting beat up by the Obama administration. Cruz’ words come at a time when Senate Republicans are blasting Senator Mike Lee’s (R-UT) proposal to defund Obamacare. So Senator Cruz, instead of retreating and simply blasting back at the Republicans, took to the Glenn Beck radio show and encouraged a grassroots effort to get behind Lee’s efforts and push elected officials to support the measure. “Liberty is never safer when politicians are terrified,”
The National Popular Vote effort, which could see only 14 states – those with the largest populations – decide the presidency for voters in all 50 states, is fully partnered with a George Soros-funded election group.
Almost two weeks ago, we reported that Barry Soetoro, an alias of Barack Hussein Obama, was registered to vote in Washington, D.C. Granted, many think this was a hoax and someone other than Obama registered Barry Soetoro in DC.
Detroit labor union workers and current retirees were dealt a blow recently when a U.S. bankruptcy judge ruled that the city's debt restructuring could continue on and bring changes to their pensions, says FOX Business News. In 2009, Detroit's pensions were 93 percent funded, according to the Pew Institute, compared to other cities like Providence, Rhode Island, which was only 42 percent funded.
OUR LIVES BEGIN TO END THE DAY WE BECOME SILENT ABOUT THINGS THAT MATTER ~ Martin Luther King
The awakened must come together to realise that they have both the strength and the ability to speak out. Your silence has allowed laws to be brought in that will endeavour to silence everyone who disagrees with the Cabal. Right now, every day is important. You cannot sit back and say, “They would never do that”. They are doing it !
other day I became involved in an online exchange between a couple of Americans
and an obvious supporter of Islam. It began with a picture I posted depicting a
liberal hippy and a jihadist with their arms around each other while standing
on top of a pile of dead bodies and the US flag. The liberal hippy holds a sign
that says "Stop Fascist War on Terrorism," and the jihadist holds a
rope attached to a burka-clad woman who is trying to reach out to a distant
Statue of Liberty. Behind the two grinning men the world is burning.
fellow posted below the picture "And shortly after, he cut his head
off," and the Islamist apologist responded by downplaying the effect of
terrorism on the world while accusing the US military of exterminating hundreds
of thousands of people in the name of the 'war on terror'. The conversation
continued as the Islamist cited reasons why Jihad was justified against the
United States due to our brutal and savage invasion and interference in the
affairs of Muslim countries. The exchange was lively to say the least, and in
all fairness I have to commend all who participated for their steadfastness and
dedication to their beliefs, even the Jihadist, although I wasn't drinking his
Kool-Aid at all. If you like, you can read the entire debate here.
really cranked my tractor was when the apologist justified the killing of
civilians and other innocents on 9-11 by calling it 'blowback.' I responded by
saying "'Blowback' must be ok in Islam. Christians are told to turn
the other cheek. Radical Christians kill abortion doctors. Radical Muslims are
justified in killing infidels for a variety of reasons, not in the least being
that infidels are merely not Muslim. 'Blowback' is justified in Islam because
when you get down to the nuts and bolts, Islam is a violent religion. Yeah, we
Americans have some pretty violent nut-jobs, but our religions and governments
don't sanction stoning, decapitation, crucifixion and body dismemberment. Yeah,
some of our states have the death penalty, but we almost always use that option
only on those who do evil acts. Sharia law allows for death to those who oppose
a man's honor. This isn't a matter of apples and oranges. It's a matter of fresh
and rotten. God said "Vengeance is Mine," not "Vengeance is
yours to do as you wish." With all due respect, Islam can stick 'blowback'
where the moon don't shine. With all due respect."
I want to take this opportunity
to apologize for saying 'Islam can stick blowback where the moon don't shine.'
That was inappropriate and uncalled for, and violated about fourteen rules of
debate and etiquette. I should have said 'RADICAL Islam can stick blowback
where the moon don't shine.' I honestly do not have any ill will toward the
average God-loving-daily-praying-five-pillars-following Muslim. I believe fervently
that the majority of Muslims are not fully aware of the diabolical agenda of
Jihadists, and do not understand the twisted logic these monsters have by
following their interpretation of the Qur'an. Why do I believe this about the
average Muslim? Because if they are anything like most Christians, they pick at
the scriptures like chickens feed and attend services once a week more for
socializing than sincere worship.
But this is where the
similarities diverge. When lip-service Christians becomes devout, they begin a
journey led by the Spirit of Christ which will transform them into Grace-worthy
members of the body of Christ, praising and worshipping God while continuing to
grow in understanding and love. When lip-service Muslims becomes devout, they begin
to read more of the Qur'an and hadiths, including the darker side which
condones violence against women, marriage to children, rape and sodomy, and
forcing non-believers to convert or be killed. They begin to listen to the
voices of purely evil radicalized Imams telling them it is their duty to kill
as many non-believers as possible, and how wonderful paradise will be if they
become a martyr in the process. They adopt an attitude of hatred, revenge and a
total disregard for life.
I have Muslim friends. I also
have Hindu, Buddhist and Atheist friends. I don't agree with their beliefs, I
think they are as wrong as wrong can be. I believe that God assumed a human
form in the name of Jesus and lived a sinless life and gave Himself up to be
crucified as the ultimate sacrifice for all our sins, then rose from the dead
three days later to defeat Satan and conquer death so that all who believe on
Him should be cleansed by His blood and have eternal salvation. I believe Jesus
when he said "I am the way, the truth, and the light; no one comes to the
Father but through Me." I know that my redeemer lives. But I WILL NOT
force others to my belief through threat of death. I WILL NOT slaughter those
who don't follow my religion. I WILL NOT treat women like cattle. I WILL NOT
condone murderous revenge against my enemy. I WILL NOT judge others, because
then I'll be judged. I WILL love God with all my body, heart, mind and spirit,
and love my neighbors as myself, even if they are Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish and
So while I apologize for my
inappropriate comment, of which I am profoundly sorry, I remain steadfast in my
belief that the justification for mass murder and terrorism because of
'blowback,' or revenge against military action done by the US military against
agents of evil disguised as religion is decidedly WRONG. Personally, I think
war stinks. I think most politicians and power hungry fanatics should be relocated
to a deserted island. I think worshipping God should result in love for ALL my
fellow beings. I think any religion that condones harming others should be
moved to that same island. I think John Lennon was right when he said we should
give peace a chance. I think God's Mercy and Grace abounds. I think we should
get around to the business of loving one another and cut out all the hatred and
divisiveness. I think it can happen. I think NOW is the best time for that to
WASHINGTON— Archbishop William E.
Lori of Baltimore, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' (USCCB)
Ad Hoc Committee for Religious Liberty, and Bishop Denis J. Madden, auxiliary
bishop of Baltimore and chairman of the USCCB Committee on Ecumenical and Interreligious
Affairs, hailed the introduction of S. 1274 by Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Roy
Blunt and urged U.S. Senators to support passage of the Federal Disaster
Assistance Nonprofit Fairness Act of 2013. S. 1274 is similar to H.R. 592, which overwhelmingly
passed the House of Representatives on February 13, 2013.
a July 29 letter, Archbishop Lori and Bishop Madden asked Senators to support
the legislation, which would ensure the fair and equal treatment for houses of
worship damaged in natural disasters by enabling them to seek aid from the
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The letter noted that S. 1274 "is consistent
with Supreme Court jurisprudence, which recognizes the right of religious
institutions to receive public financial aid in the context of a broad program
administered on the basis of religion-neutral criteria."Archbishop Lori and Bishop Madden explained
that houses of worship often play an "irreplaceable role in the recovery of a
community" after a natural disaster.
"Discrimination that treats houses
of worship as ineligible for federal assistance in the wake of a natural
disaster, beyond being a legal violation, hurts the very communities most
affected by the indiscriminate force of nature," said Archbishop Lori and Bishop
Where? Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela? Absolutely, AND now right here in the good old U.S of A.!! However, there is a difference! Now we are truly beginning to see that actual, physical ownership of the media is not necessary in order for the Progressive politicians to have control.
“I was a constitutional law professor, which means unlike the current president I actually respect the Constitution.” Barrack Hussein Obama. Obama took the Presidential Oath, swearing to “..preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” but has:
Shortly, New York may be ruled by a governor who helped cause the financial meltdown, while New York City may have a mayor who was forced to resign from Congress and its comptroller will be a former governor who was forced to resign for transporting a prostitute across state lines.
It’s not even August, and Members of Congress are starting to buzz about the upcoming budget and debt ceiling fight—which likely won't happen until later this fall. But the posturing has begun, and the media are happy to oblige.
On the "phony scandals" controversy, Limbaugh admitted he was stunned that the president was able to survive 2012 with the bad economy on his back. He came up with the "Limbaugh theorem" to explain why so many people hate Obama's policies yet like him and vote for him: he's "constantly campaigning" and never governing who keeps insisting nothing that ever happens in Washington is his fault.
Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) is a federal entitlement created in 1956 as an insurance plan for long-tenured workers with the misfortune of becoming disabled before retirement. Today, the program has ballooned into a $135 billion behemoth threatening to collapse under its own weight.
I have been writing for Freedom Outpost for nearly a year and at the former Front Porch Politics for six months before that. There was a commenter who would always come on and say that no one is coming for our guns, and yet, here we are. The evidence abounds that gun confiscation is the goal and is currently taking place.
I have been trying to remember a president that someone did not want to impeach. An effort was made to impeach Andrew Johnson but failed by one vote. Nixon resigned when he was informed that he would face impeachment for the Watergate scandal. Bill Clinton faced impeachment, but even Republicans did not want to vote for it, fearing the blowback and the prospect that Al Gore, his Vice President, would replace him.
In a Sunday New York Times piece, Monica Davey and Abby Goodnough indicated that the Affordable Health Care Act (Obamacare) is a key component of Detroit’s bankruptcy plan to bail out Democrat controlled cities and corrupt
public employee unions. In other words, Barack Obama is bailing out Detroit and he’s going to use American tax dollars to do it through Obamacare.
Barack Obama is playing the old shell game with the American people again. He told CBS News that he can't guarantee that Social Security checks will go out if Democrats and Republicans fail to reach an agreement to raise the debt ceiling by August 2.
"What is America going to look like when the middle class is dead? Once upon a time, the United States has the largest and most vibrant middle class in the history of the world. When I was growing up, it seemed like almost everyone was "middle class" and it was very rare to hear of someone that was out of work.
Our forefathers were men of principle. They were godly
men who believed in freedom above all else. In writing the Constitution, they enshrined in that document the sacred principle in which they believed. Among these principles, were the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. In order that these rights were maintained they understood that the country they were about to create should have a government with limited powers, a government that was fiscally responsible, and a government that believed in free markets. They believed in these things so deeply that they were willing to suffer anything, including death to make them a reality.
US Spends $24 Million on Propaganda TV That Doesn't Get Seen
Anyone recall that thing called the sequester, which was supposed to impose serious, devastating cuts that would end the world as we know it? Yeah, I remember it and I recall how we are currently funneling billions of taxpayer dollars to our enemies, spending millions on a vacation or two every month for the Obamas. Additionally, I see us pumping billions into Obamacare, along with the millions more into the NSA spy program, even though we have every right to believe it is being used unlawfully. Just when you thought the feds
sitting here this morning with a mountain within me of things to rail against;
there is so much wrong with the world today that I literally don't know where
to start. I want to scream at the US government for driving this country and
the Constitution into complete and utter ruin. I want to scream at every last
one of my fellow Americans, including myself, for giving the keys of our nation
to all those morons in Washington DC. I want to scream at ourselves for not
doing enough to save this, the greatest society since the dawn of mankind. I
want to scream at all the hatred and killing and war and greed and evil that
has enveloped the world like a wet towel, all in the name of religion and
freedom and race and sexual orientation and pride and prejudice and fear and
honor and all the other insane reasons to split us up from each other. I want
to scream at all the good people who sit at home silently watching the news,
knowing something has to be done but not doing it. I want to scream at all the
outright lies and the half-truths and closed minds and open hands stretched out
wanting things they feel entitled to. I want to scream for those who have no
voice, for those who have screamed so much they've become hoarse, for the
children of the world who are going to have a tougher life than we are now. I
want to scream at the futility of screaming.
screaming can only get me so far. I can scream until I'm blue in the face, and
then I'll have a sore throat and a blue face. On Facebook today a Libertarian
friend warned us all to 'gird our loins' to in the fight against the downfall
of our nation, and another friend responded "No, Americans will roll over and do nothing, wide scale revolt (most
likely necessarily armed) is now required in order to retore the U.S.
constitution, however, there's simply too many sheeple and not enough common
sense human beings left in the world, sorry, but the united states is over, we
have too many sports fans . . . for anything to change." As I read
those words I thought "He's probably right. It is too late. All I can do
prepare for the worst and concentrate on caring for my own." But this is
the type of attitude that will certainly bring my friend's prophesy true; this
is the attitude that got us here to start with. So with what voice I have left
in me, I bellow "NEVER GIVE UP!"
Matthew 7:12 gives us the words of Jesus saying "Do
unto others as you would have them do unto you." When you live this truth
you are not giving up. Remember His words in Matthew 26:52: "He that lives
by the sword will die by the sword." Take this to heart, not to judge
others, but to remind yourself that what you put out is what you get back. Implement
Christ's declaration of the two great commandments in Matthew 22:37-39: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest
commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."
While you're in the book of Matthew, read chapters 5 through 7, or what is
commonly known as the Sermon on the Mount. It contains guidelines for how to
transform you life, how to ease the suffering of your troubled heart, how to
make a change, how to not give up. Even if you are not a Christian, you will
find the life, words and ministry of Jesus an excellent yardstick for being.
No, I can't go out today and change the mess those stinking
politicians have made of our country. No, I can't go around shaking everyone by
the shoulders and telling them to wake up and make a difference in their life.
No, I can't repair the divisiveness that plagues society; I can't make haters
stop hating. I can't end hunger and pain on the whole planet. No, I can't turn
it all around and save the world. Not by myself. But I CAN try to live my life
through Christ's example. I CAN share the Good News with those whose lives touch
mine. I CAN transform my life from a screamer to a DO-er. I CAN let God's love
flow through me, to use my unique talents for His will.
I can tell someone today that I love them. I can treat
those who I interact with as I want them to treat me, and not expect them to
reciprocate. I can calm a troubled heart when I come across it, even if it is
my own. I can and I am and I will. This is the opposite of giving up. It is
In a major shakeup for the radio industry, Cumulus Media, the second-biggest broadcaster in the country, is planning to drop both Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity from its stations at the end of the year, an industry source told POLITICO on Sunday.
By now it is well-known that public employee contracts with generous wages and benefits are bankrupting state and local governments across the country and encircling the necks of future generations with an anvil of debt. What is almost completely unknown is that union officials who negotiate lavish contracts for government workers are often paid to do so with taxpayer dollars, says Clint Bolick,
During the 2011 legislative sessions, a number of blockbuster reforms were produced across a variety of education policy areas. That momentum continued in 2012 with major reforms impacting a variety of K-12 policy domains. In addition to major policy advances, a number of high-quality academic studies strongly supported the case for these crucial reforms. Importantly, with state education policy now beginning to accept a student-driven environment, it has freed education innovators to field-test stunningly novel digital learning techniques that have the potential to revolutionize learning not just in the United States, but around the world, say Matthew Ladner, the senior adviser of policy and research, and Dave Myslinski, the state policy director for Digital Learning Now!, at the Foundation for Excellence in Education.
Edward S. Miller, a lifetime FBI man of high rank and stature, recently passed away at the age of 89. A good man and good American, Miller, who was also a veteran of World War II (Okinawa), faithfully served his family, country, and God. He also faithfully served the agency that hired him in 1950, as well as the longtime head of that agency, J. Edgar Hoover.
Kate Briquelet and Isabel Vincent, two reporters for the New York Post, recently investigated what some food stamp recipients do with the food they purchase on the taxpayer’s dime. What they found was astounding. They were packing the food in barrels and shipping it back to their home countries. Evidently, the practice is fairly common as most Caribbean stores stock wooden or cardboard barrels right in their stores.
Two of the biggest scams run by teachers are now coming to an end in North Carolina, where Gov. Pat McCrory signed legislation that does away with tenure and automatic pay increases for teachers who get their masters degree. This is a victory for education in North Carolina.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are angry with efforts by mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner and his campaign to compare his Internet sexcapades — and his wife Huma Abedin’s incredible forgiveness — to the Clintons’ notorious White House saga, The Post has learned.
“The Clintons are upset with the comparisons that the Weiners seem to be encouraging — that Huma is ‘standing by her man’ the way Hillary did with Bill, which is not what she in fact did,’’ said a top state Democrat.

Ladies and Gentlemen, at the end of the day and when the dust clears it is pertinent that we understand clearly what our founding documents mean to us. As stated here it may be the difference between living a life of Freedom and Liberty or slavery.
